Permit: what the RRU says

  • Placing a sign is in principle subject to planning permission.
  • Illuminated advertising must switch off between 01:00 and 06:00, except for safety reasons, and carry brightness sensors.
  • The permit runs nine years for a sign, three years for other advertising devices.
