LED screen in Anderlecht: installation, permit and quote
A commune of the Brussels Region with its own permit office. What to know before installing a screen on Wayez street or in Cureghem.
Anderlecht is part of the Brussels-Capital Region: the same regional rules apply, but the permit application goes through the commune’s own planning department.
Anderlecht’s permit office
- Planning permit office: rue de Veeweyde 100, 1070 Anderlecht.
- Open Monday to Friday, 9am–12pm and 1pm–3pm.
- Applications can also be filed online via the MyPermit platform.
- Any commercial installation or extension over 600 m² needs its own separate permit.
Wayez street and Cureghem
Wayez street is Anderlecht’s main commercial artery, laid out in the late 19th century between the canal bridge and the village centre. To the east, the Cureghem district holds a strongly mixed local trade — Lebanese restaurants, Moroccan and Turkish tea houses, Polish, Romanian and Greek shops, garages and pizzerias, often in narrow storefronts where a screen usefully replaces a painted sign.
